American Parkinson’s 2016 Optimism Walks

The American Parkinson Disease Association is the country’s largest Parkinson’s grassroots organization with a unique dual purpose to Ease the Burden – Find the Cure.The American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA) 2016 Optimism Walks are key fundraisers for the Connecticut chapter of the APDA. Hartford HealthCare was a sponsor to help further promote the Neuroscience Institute Movement Disorders Center.  We had two great walks in Connecticut in October one at Westport Optimism Walk on Oct 1 as well as the West Hartford Optimism Walk on Oct 29.  Hartford Health Care had a wonderful presence and a strong showing with a team of walkers at the Optimism Walks.
